Check in was a breeze and we had a wonderful room facing the ocean. The sound of the waves was awesome. The window can be opened in full, but there is no screen so you can't keep it open overnight due to bugs flying in.
Room was clean and was decent for the stay. No issues, nothing broken, nothing dirty.
Kids enjoyed the pool area. There was the main pool, a kiddie pool, and a hot tub. The sauna was not working. Towels were provided at the pool area.
Fairly close to Florence (about 30 min), sand dunes, and sea lion caves.
Yes, the hotel can be said to be dated, but it's not bad especially if you can get a deal. We did not see any bugs in our room. We did not have any issues with noise. If I had to say one negative thing about the hotel, it would be the soap. We only got one for the stay. We had to move it from sink to tub and back each time.

During our family road trip, we chose to stay at the Adobe Resort Hotel and had a memorable experience in a lovely room. Although the hotel could benefit from some updates, and our room experienced a bit of noise, it didn't diminish our overall enjoyment. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, but noticed a few odd stains on the couch.
The service, however, was top-notch, and the staff truly excelled in their roles. The outside benches provided the perfect spot to take in the mesmerizing views of waves and spouts. At night, the illuminated bluffs and starry skies created an enchanting atmosphere.
Adding to our delightful stay, the hotel also housed a fantastic restaurant. We enjoyed an exceptional dinner accompanied by breathtaking views, making the experience truly unforgettable.

I wish I could give it a 4.5 because that is where they rank in my books. Location is incredible with beautiful ocean views at any time of the day, particularly at sunset. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, perhaps a little dated but in proper working conditions. There is a pool and a small gym. The restaurant is good for breakfast and dinner. They offer complementary grab and go breakfast Mondays and Tuesdays. I would go back.

I enjoyed my stay. My room was huge, clean, comfortable and overlooked the ocean and beautiful rocky coast. The sound of the waves was so relaxing. The restaurant also overlooks the ocean and the sunset was amazing. The windows are a bit dirty and cloudy so it’s best to go outside to take photos. My food, the crab cakes, were delicious and fresh and hearty, with quinoa and vegetables. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They serve little truffles at the front desk which I enjoyed! It’s right at the coast and access to the coastal trail is right outside the hotel. This trail is great and runs for miles along the coast, along beaches and nature trails. The gym was good with a good selection of modern quality machines and treadmills. There’s no water or clock in the gym, so be sure to take your own. The pool looked nice although it was very busy with kids when I went one morning so I didn’t swim. Breakfast was very limited, with nothing gluten/dairy free apart from apples. So I tried to go to a coffee shop in Yachats for coffee and breakfast until I found that all coffee shops in Yachats appeared to be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Overall a great stay and I would stay again.

Good location.
Floors are sticky. Don't know what's up with that. Bathroom is bare, can't hang clothes or my towel.
When they say hillside view, they mean the parking.
The bed is saggy. Absolutely terrible. Don't know how this is even 4 from reviews.
