This resort has recently changed ownership and is renamed Waldport Bayfront Hotel. The previous owners had allowed it to fall into disrepair, but it now has new carpet and interior paint. It's a work in progress. Service was great. We enjoyed our stay here. The view of the bay from our room was spectacular.

We had a good stay! The management just bought this place on Saturday, and doing great. The beds are comfortable, the view was great too. The owner fixed issues we had quickly. I think with time they will completely turn this place into the best.

Opted not to get a room here based on a tour. The restaurant looked very promising but the waitress was SO mean it ruined any hope of extra stars. Literally bullied our group, very strange.

The rooms due need some updating can be a nice pleasurable place with some renovating. Overall it was a good place we enjoyed our stay.

100% scammers!!!! We called to get PRICING!!!!! the person who answered said that she needed our card info to give us pricing- told her we were not comfortable doing that- whe said word for word " i need your card info to give you a price, thats how my computer works" told her we will call her back if we want to get the room, price qas too high, we only wanted to get pricing- then they charged us $400+ for 1 night!!!!!! We called and requested a refund and the lady told us absolutely not- she said you gave me the card info so I charge you and argued with us over and over. We only called for pricing- we NEVER told her we wanted the room ans now they are scamming people out of money and hundreds of dollars for something we didnt authorize!!!! SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 100000% SCAMMERS!!!!! BBB will be reported!!!! You are scamming people - AMERICAN PEOPLE FRAUDLY!!!!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM AND DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!! DO NOT GIVE YOUR CARD INFO IF YOU ARE NEEDING PRICING!!!! IF THEYBSAY THEY NEED YOUR CARD TO "LOOK UP A PRICE" DO NOT DO IT!!! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AND THEN BLAME YOU FOR THE CHARGE!!! I AM IN SHOCK!!!!!! SCAMMERS!!!!!!!! I will also be getting law enforcement involved. We booked a house in depot bay- and she glat out lied that we confirmed through " email" never got an email. Then changed her story that we called her back and told her- only 1 call record. We will be showing uo with a police officer because they are pressuring you to provide card info before pricing and she hung up on a twice. So, I will be re-routing my drive ans heading to Alsea with a police officer and filing for fraud. Absolutely disgusted that these people are scamming. We have PROOF that we never got a confirmation, which she said we responded back to--- NOPE---- WE HAVE EMAIL PROOF OF THAT TOO!!!! never told her yes, never booked with them!! We are so mad that we have to show up with law enforcement and She is absolutely scamming and lying getting money put of people. Plus she hung up on us twice and kept interrupting us and would not let us speak- she absolutely refused to cancel and refund us. See you soon!!!!
