We only spent one night at the B&B but were very impressed by the reception and hospitality. We had a couple of great conversations with Mary over a cup of coffee/tea in the evening and over a magnificent breakfast in the morning. Mary gave some very good pointers as well as to local points of interest. We can certainly recommend this great stop on the Oregon coast.

In scouring the internet for a B&B near Cape Perpetua we were most fortunate to discover Ambrosia Garden for a 2 night stay. What a transquil place and a relief from Rte 101 - itβs about 1/4 up from the highway. The home and the garage where we stayed offer a sunset view of the Pacific over a spacious lawn and garden. Most enjoyable over morning coffee bringing a rejuvenating feeling to start one's day. Our abode was very clean and comfortable and had all that we needed even if one was into cooking.
Unfortunately due to Covid our interaction with Mary was a brief chat and sadly no touted breakfast. Wish we had more time with her as she's engaging and very interesting. From our first contact she's was very helpful with detailed instructions to her home and to links with detailed information regarding Park passes etc. Being in the midst of her garden was a pleasure.
Not to be missed.

My family and I stayed in June of last year and I'm so sorry it took me this long to write a review. Of all the places we stayed during our trip, this was our favourite. We stayed in the upstairs loft above the garage (the carriage house?) because we had 2 children (2 and 10). It was very clean, had its own kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom separate from the small living room area. There was also a working VCR and a small collection of Disney movies. Mary was very kind and accommodating. She made a very nice breakfast with pancakes and fresh fruit. We forgot the 2 yo's sippy cup upstairs in the loft and she had one in the kitchen so we didn't have to go grab it.
There's a narrow view of the ocean from the room we were in and the garden was lovely. It was great for pictures of the children. This is also located near some tourist destinations. We visited Thor's well and some tide pools nearby. Mary even provided some great information and brochures. I'd stay there again and recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. I wish I could give this B&B more stars.

Ambrosia Gardens is one of the nicest bed and breakfast locations we've ever stayed. It is beautifully decorated inside with hand-made quilts and lovely antiques and outside with lush, well-cared for gardens. The owner made gourmet breakfasts for us - one day individual Dutch baby pancakes with fresh fruit salad, and the next a delicious frittata, also accompanied by fresh fruit with blackberries she recently had picked, the first of the season. She was very attentive to details and inquired about food allergies and coffee/tea preferences the night before. She was extremely helpful answering any questions that we had about local restaurants as well as the interesting water features at Cape Perpetual which was nearby. The B&B is located near the interesting town of Yachts to the north and is not too far from Florence to the south. It has a view of the ocean and you can hear the waves all night long if you choose to keep your window open.

This inn is a really good place to stay at. Mary is a very nice girl. When we first got there we new we would love it. It has a great sensory of the ocean and the woods. The hot tub is working great and it felt good. The breakfast was very good. Mary provided us with bathrobes soap and towels. We had a wonderful stay.
