Great hosts. Good food. Comfortable home with nice view of river. And if like to fish for Salmon call Pat direct for a great deal for room rate and he will take you fishing for free. Caution: we are in our 80s..there are several stairs to deal with; we have hip issues; no fault of theirs.😫
Great hosts, room, and breakfast. The Woodland Room offers a private bathroom, although it is not connected to the bedroom. Access is through a common area. Bring a robe or use one of the robes provided with the room. If you come in April/May, ask about the wonderful salmon fishing opportunities!
Nice, comfortable house on the Umpqua River. Two of the three rooms have en suite bathrooms, the third has a larger, gorgeous bathroom, but you do need to put on a robe. Over 1000 DVDs if you are interested in just cozying up in your room. Terrific breakfasts. Nice people.
Four of us stayed here on a road trip from Seattle to San Francisco. This was probably our favorite place. Saw a ton of elk nearby. Had campfire on deck. Breakfast was great. Owners were super friendly and we loved their dogs.
The time in this home away from home was more than accommodating. The hospitality alone is worth talking about. I am a vegetarian and the meals can be compared to fine dining. The river access gives you that feeling that you never want to go home. Lots of nature calling your name.
