I am so pleased having had our ductless heat pump installed last summer. We were resolved to using the wall mount unit until it was suggested by Steve, the owner, to upgrade to a low-profile ceiling cassette. It is hardly noticeable and definitely worth it. We have seen such a change in our power and heating bill. All instructions were given regarding use, maintenance and settings. I know if we keep this unit maintained (clean the filters) it will last us many years to come. Bonus, it has AC for the rare hot days. What a great job. Thanks Florence Heating Crew
This company was highly recommended by a good friend to perform an inspection and I can only echo her sentiments that they were easy to work with, were on time for my appointment, did the scope of work we discussed in a very timely manner and the technician was a heck of nice guy. He explained all that he was going to do in an understandable way for a neophyte such as myself. I highly recommend them.
Steve and his wife are the owners of this business. They installed our original Daikin, ductless heat pump system several years ago. On the rare occasion I have had a problem, he is there both on the phone and in person, when necessary. This family owned business is honest, hard working and straight up honest. When I need special sheet metal trim, he is there for me as a person I can count on.
Highly recommend this company. Had a problem with heater. Service call appointment quicker than expected. Professional and Great service from friendly technicians discovering a problem that wasn't obvious or easily found. Replaced part and heat restored. Very GRATEFUL and happy.
All was well until our daikin heat pump broke. Still under warranty. FHSM advised us daikin insisted they follow a step by step procedure of testing one part of the machine at the factory at a time before they would replace under the warranty. This was not explained clearly at the outset. After paying for visit after visit, we complained about being cold all winter. Mr. Wohlford became angry at this, and complained about “insinuations” in turn. After many months of suffering through cold in our home (luckily we also have a wood stove, but it’s a lot of work to heat the house with all winter), the final piece was replaced and the heater worked. Today the pump is acting strange again, so Today I called another heat pump company because we will not go back to FHSM. I told this story and the woman on the phone blew up. Daikin, she said, has no such policy. Her company does the repair under warranty on the spot. Then why? I asked. Who is paying for all those visits? She responded. So what was this? I advise potential customers to beware.
