This was such a lovely surprise. It was recommended by a bartender at 2 Shy Brewing. We had the Crab Melt sandwiches, which were absolutely amazing. The onion rings are huge and perfectly cooked. The Alaskan Halibut combo did not disappoint. For dessert, the bread pudding was excellent. The bathrooms were very clean. The service was friendly and helpful with picking out food. This seems to be a hidden gem of a restaurant! We loved it!
A terrific spot for casual dining! The food is fantastic! Large portions and phenomenal flavour add to the pleasant surroundings and top knot h staff. Highly recommend and we will be back!!
My parents (in their eighties) and I took a day trip to Winchester Bay. It was a beautiful fall day on the Oregon Coast. In Reedsport, we decided to stop for some lunch. We pulled into the Harbor Light Restaurant and weren't disappointed. We were greeted with a friendly hello and seated immediately. Our server was friendly and patient while taking our orders. (My father doesn't hear well) The food came out quickly and was better than expected. The serving size was plenty, and the food was very good. I had the clam chowder with shrimp and cheese, a dish of coleslaw, and a side salad. While we didn't order any desert, the chocolate Lava Cake and the Bread Pudding looked wonderful. If you find yourself on the Oregon Coast near Reedsport, a stop at the Harbor Light Restaurant is well worth it.
Very nice place and great menu. Had the clam chowder with cheese bread...yummy!!! My husband had fish and chips. We went back and had the shrimp, also yummy. The dining room is not large, so if you have to wait for a table, they ask if you can wait outside and give you a buzzer when your table is ready. Food is well prepared and very good. No beer on tap but have canned to serve.
I had heard that this is one of the spendier restaurants in Reedsport, but I wanted to treat myself to some great Oregon Coast seafood before I leave town. It's in a quaint little building that doesn't look like much. Oh, but once you're inside you're greeted to a wonderful ambiance that includes indoor and outdoor seating. Vacillating back and forth between the 1/3 pound elk burger and my purpose for coming here, something with seafood in it. I asked the waiter "so what are your signature dishes here?" Without a moment's hesitation he said the seafood pot pie is incredible," so that's what I ordered. Let me tell you, if you like seafood, if you like clam chowder GET THIS DISH. You won't be disappointed. Instead of a heavy pie crust, the pot pie is served with a puffed pastry on. To me it's a nice touch. Puff pastries easier on the belly and it soaks up the seafood chowder, thick with chunks of at least three kinds of seafood if not more.
