This park is huge!! 416 sites!! Some of the campsites are small and would not be good for larger tents. I love all the bathrooms and showers!! We went to the amphitheater 2 nights for presentations about owls and whales. There is dune access on H loop part of the year. Staff were amazing!!!! Lots of things to do here! Sand boarding, pedal boats, etc at the lake. Swimming as well. There is a fun center down the road and we had a blast! Bumper boats, go carts and mini golf. Also dune tours on huge ATVs. Be sure ro pick your site accordingly as some are not good for trailers and not good for tents. Campsite photos is a great website to check out pics.

Great family friendly camp ground right off the dunes, with a fun little fresh water lake great for swimming, kayaking, supping ... its always chilly and wet so dress warm. Great paved roads for kids biking and scootering around and nice playground structure.

J.M. Honeyman Memorial State Park Campground was enjoyable. Advanced reservations required, we stayed in campsite # 137 in the C Loop. 137 had water and electric hookups, but unfortunately, it was a small site with little privacy between neighbors. Plus the C Loop had traffic noise from Hwy 101. This is a family based campground with the lake and dunes to enjoy. We drove into Florence for a couple of delicious seafood dinners. We rode our bikes around the campground, Cleawox Lake and across the highway to Woahink Lake. Bella enjoyed walking on the path for a swim at the lake. This is the first campground in all of our years of camping that only had trash disposal at the exit. It was odd that there were no trash receptacles in any of the loops. For those who wanted to enjoy the coast, it was not directly accessible from JMHMSP Campground but a short drive away.

This is another great example of our incredible state park system. Jessie Honeyman State Park is a big park, close to the Oregon dunes, as well as several lakes. Lots of opportunities for outdoor adventures for families and friends. Highly recommended 👌

We la la l-o-v-e this campground! All the smiles, laughter, clean bathrooms, paddle boats (photos to soon follow review), lake swimming & picnic area, AH-MAZING (knowledgeable) STAFF, and HUGE Dunes!! The campground welcome center was a buzz with guests, all the dogs (💓), and staff alike. They had a guest sign in registry, the coolest taxidermy animal collection, boardgames, books, firewood, ice, and tide information pamplets. The playground had swings that swung high, bark the mulch, and lots of kids 😁💯
Thank you, Honeyman. WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!! 🔥🫶 🏕
