Please pack your trash out! Bring an extra garbage bag for all the garbage you find & encounter on your visit. We have to work collectively to keep this space beautiful! Help me convince the locals that we ("tourists") aren't the enemy!!! Glass is prohibited. People always leave popped floaties in the lowest pool 😒 & please no Styrofoam, ever! I've seen this place so completely littered with so many tiny Styrofoam particles, that it looked like it had snowed 😭🤬 It washes down stream! Awful for the ecosystems that depend on this area. Please also respect fish ladders as well. Leave no trace ❤
Took the family here on a Sunday afternoon. Beautiful drive to a small parking lot on the side of the highway. Don't miss it. Then crossed the road and walked a path to some fairly steep stairs. These lead down to the creek and a nice swimming hole with boulders everywhere. You can run around on these all over. If you go upstream you'll find some nice falls. They weren't flowing very hard and it was beautiful. Nice place to spend a day.
A great spot to stop and take in the area instead of driving right through it. A short walk from parking lot and a steep but secure staircase leads to a small area nd rocks to scamper over and around. We didn't stay long or stray very far at all and it was still very worth the stop.
Great place to rock slide!! However, the parking lot is NOT SAFE!! We were swimming for an hour and my car was broken into. The passenger window was shattered and several belongings were stolen. It turned a lovely day into a stressful situation. Make sure you do not leave anything valuable in your car if you go here to swim. I am unsure we’ll be back. My kids are pretty shook up over the whole ordeal. The parking lot was empty yet we could smell cigarettes and a loud noise from within the bathrooms - toilet lid falling down?? It felt strange like someone was hiding out in the bathrooms so they could steal things. We sure didn’t feel safe.
This was a hidden gem. We went over labor Day weekend. I was worried because the reviews said that the parking lot is small but there are probably about 20 spaces in the parking lot. We got there at 11 and left around 2 and it wasn't too crowded. The rock slides are fun and the cloud jumping is too. The water was a very comfortable temperature. Some of the warmest water in Oregon.
