Nice and quiet little hotel. I liked the convenient location. There is also new flooring in my room #3. There seemed to be a good amount of parking as I usually arrive late to hotels and have problems finding parking but this was not the case here. Management is very friendly and when I checked in I enjoyed looking at the birds that they had in the lobby. Great place, Historical, clean!

There were slugs in my shower. Spiders on my bed. The bed was OK. Except fur the spiders. The person above me was up all night walking on 1938 floors creaked all night long. Dogs started barking at 7am. I will never stay again. I don't think mopped or swept in awhile sand everywhere. I understand the sand but too much sand

Found this hotel fortuitously this Summer b/c the Best Western across the bridge where we usually stay was out of pet rooms. Great place. It doesn't have the BW's great balcony view of Florence across the Siuslaw, but it makes up for that with a number of unique things: pleasant, unique feel to the place (birds in the lobby, etc.); cool layout for the rooms—at least the ones they gave us (double room with a Jack & Jill bathroom); good breakfast with some tasty homemade biscuits (can't remember the grain but it was something unique...barley perhaps). And, the proximity to downtown is tough to beat.

Decent sized rooms, love the layout for the bathroom personally, also located near tourist hotspots including gift shops, renowned sea food restaurants, great bars with bartenders and cooks. Within walking distance if you want to see the ocean from the coast, 10 minute drive from the beach or less, I could keep going but overall, definitely a 3 star INN in my opinion.
After an overnight stay here, I can say that the people here are respectful of your privacy and warm hearted when you reach out. Thats the human interaction I think we've lost since 2020. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Stayed there for about a week. The place is awesome. We wrote them 2 steller reviews. Then after the week, we realized that the only reason the place is awesome is because of the guests and the help... Specifically, Sandy and Ashley were awesome. The owner, Eric, is a total jersey. Classless to say the least. He acts like he has class but he doesn't. He needs to go back to school. I may buy the place and fire his grassy butt. We'll see how it goes...
