He came up with an entirely unique finish for the exterior of the house, combining Japanese traditional techniques (Yakisugi) with innovative wood treatment technology. He custom built interior details that are truly lovely.
Stephen is also expert at the art of selecting, managing and timing sub-contractors, ensuring that the work proceeds smoothly and on-time.
Most critically, when there were difficult challenges, as are sure to arise on any home building project, Stephen was thoughtful, responsive and effective at resolving any issues.
