So far, it was a good experience. I have a big family and we always go on family camp in Washington where we reside, I found this similar cabbing campground and decided to give it a try going with my parents to investigate if all of my family should visit latter, even though it's six hours of driving from our hometown. There are some pros and cons I have highlighted for myself. Pros: - gorgeous location, beautiful lake, mountains, and nature - nice service, we didn't really have had any special requests or concerns - cleaned cabin, enough space, towels, soap, dish soap, shower accessories - multiple types of rentals - cabins, yurts, smaller cabins, big family cabin, RV spaces, all have their own fireplace, table and bench, and grill - very close to the lake, one minute walk to cross the road - there is enough of large and small dishes and glasses, a lots of grill supplies, utensils, coffee machine, toaster, spacious fridge, and microwave - Heating - we booked for the mid-May which is still kind of chill this year, it was pretty cold at night and sometimes during the day, but there is a heating system that saved us - Pets allowed for additional fee Cones: - not much to do - besides fishing dock and boat rental, there is no kids playground or hiking trails, swimming is possible but only for good weather which we didn't have since it's the beginning of the season. There are some hiking trails around but those are quite abandoned and mostly closed. - have to pay for wi-fi separately - when arrived, we had to go online by the special link that pops up on your phone when you try to connect to Wi-Fi and have to set up an account, then enter so much information, then pay separately after paying for cabin rental (1 day - about 3$, 3 days - about 5$, and 7 days around 10$): Oh yes, if you have multiple devises you will need to pay for all of them separately, it's not like you pay for one connection to all of the devises you have, and yes I did tried my best to make it work for both my phone and tablet. - we rented cabin which comes with some utensils and cookware, but unfortunately there was very little cookware to use, just few small pots, one small skillet, and a few salad dishes, only two mugs for a 4-people cabin; no cutting boards, only few knives. I am assuming people use take-out, cooking everything off the grill, or bring staff themselves. Absolutely fine for a few days, but if camping for a week or so, I'd bring own supplies. - If need to go to the store, it's a bit of a driving back and forth since the closest one in about 30min away, the office store doesn't have much since there is not many people booking yet

Cons:The noise is definitely an issue. Even on a non holiday weekend. Kids riding bikes over the metal dock ramp at 7 am, kayaks in the swim area, $8 for internet that didn’t work. Pros: Great Lake to kayak not a lot of boats. Easy trip to the National Park day use area for more swimming and a waterfall. Friendly staff. Boat rentals at the marina. Big spots to accommodate full size trucks and travel trailers.

My family had such a good time at this place. We LOVE escaping to the mountains and this was like “glamping” (which I love to do) we stayed in their original fisherman’s cottages which I thought were SO cute and charming. Older but perfectly comfortable. And one night in their hotel which was also great. I’d love to stay in the tiny cabins or yurts next time. I love that there were things for us to rent like boats, paddle boards and so much more. The mountains were beautiful and peaceful, the owner and workers there were SO nice and accommodating. We forgot fire wood and a lighter so we bought some wood there and the couple of young gentlemen who work there brought it down to our cottage right away and let us borrow their lighter and told us to use it as long as we needed. Everyone was so nice, it was affordable, it was a beautiful place. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a family friendly mountain getaway!

My family and I had an amazing stay! The cabins are clean and cozy and our kids enjoyed the excitement of sleeping in a Yurt. The staff was pleasant and made our stay very special. The grounds were clean and the view was beautiful. We are already planning our next visit. Until next time Loon Lake.

It's a nice place with a nice lodge and lake. If you are looking for a quiet camping experience you definitely do not want to go here on a holiday weekend. There were obnoxiously loud vehicles going in and out all hours of the day and night. We were happy if people turned their music down by 11:00. Sorry, Just wasn't our cup of tea.
