We just drove all the way out there to check out the lake and the cabins and yurts to possibly stay at sometime. After arriving at the beautiful lake, we stretched our legs and played for a bit. Then we cruised around the cabins and yurts checking them out. Before our departure, the woman in charge pulled over to see what I was doing. I told her browsing the cabins and then my gf was using the bathroom. The woman in charge threw a huge fit, continuously letting me know how they're not a charity case, these aren't public restrooms, continuing to sound redundant and wouldn't let it go after apologizing and explaining it was an emergency. Mean lady, I wouldn't want to vacation with all that stress.
This place was really pretty very tranquil and the staff was very nice. We stayed in a yurt That was very clean. The prices at their store was very very reasonable. Not overpriced like some places. However the two nights we were there they were a bunch of people in tents partying. We should have complained the first night. But on our way out to staff remove them from the premises saying that they could not come back. We will definitely be back ourselves! Next year we will try a cabin.
Resort is kept in great condition. Staff is super friendly. Gorgeous view of Loon Lake! Only main issue is RV spots, camp sites, cabins and Yurts are too close together. Guests feel like they are on top of each other.
2nd year in a row we've went here and great time every time
I liked the place. It was remote and quiet at night. Lots of things for kids to do. Nice people. I will go back again.
