Cons:The noise is definitely an issue. Even on a non holiday weekend. Kids riding bikes over the metal dock ramp at 7 am, kayaks in the swim area, $8 for internet that didn’t work.
Pros: Great Lake to kayak not a lot of boats. Easy trip to the National Park day use area for more swimming and a waterfall. Friendly staff. Boat rentals at the marina. Big spots to accommodate full size trucks and travel trailers.

Was told about all the rules, but not one was followed by rambunctious drunken families making all kind of noise well passed midnight, the more alcohol consumed the Lowder they got and not one lodge employee intervened. First and the last time we'll ever go there and will spread the word

My family had such a good time at this place. We LOVE escaping to the mountains and this was like “glamping” (which I love to do) we stayed in their original fisherman’s cottages which I thought were SO cute and charming. Older but perfectly comfortable. And one night in their hotel which was also great. I’d love to stay in the tiny cabins or yurts next time. I love that there were things for us to rent like boats, paddle boards and so much more. The mountains were beautiful and peaceful, the owner and workers there were SO nice and accommodating. We forgot fire wood and a lighter so we bought some wood there and the couple of young gentlemen who work there brought it down to our cottage right away and let us borrow their lighter and told us to use it as long as we needed. Everyone was so nice, it was affordable, it was a beautiful place. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a family friendly mountain getaway!

Rented the guest house for July 4th weekend. Took my family and 7 of my sons friends and had a blast. House sleeps 12-14 easy. Full kitchen with all the supplies needed to cook most any meal including a gas BBQ grill. Home comes with its own private boat dock that we tied up our boat to the whole weekend. My sons and their friends all enjoyed our holiday here very much.

It's a nice place with a nice lodge and lake. If you are looking for a quiet camping experience you definitely do not want to go here on a holiday weekend. There were obnoxiously loud vehicles going in and out all hours of the day and night. We were happy if people turned their music down by 11:00. Sorry, Just wasn't our cup of tea.
