A short trail with moderate uphill and a steep downhill if you want to avoid a road walk back to the start. There are multiple, fun interpretive signs along the way explaining the trail's history. I bumped it down a bit because the trail start was over-grown at the time of our visit and the signage was dirty/faded and a bit hard to read. Still, well worth the walk and the beatiful drive up the North Fork of the Siuslaw River.
Filled with forgotten history, this hidden jem features crystal clear water, mossy trees, and trail markers with history of the area. Totally worth it if you can make the drive!
