First of all, be aware that the rooms have no A/C. With that said, the room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable - best sleep I've had the whole trip. Will definitely be staying here again!
I've been here before and I must've gotten lucky. The rooms I got this time around, well, I won't be coming back here again. The first room (120) is like sleeping on the street. It's on the corner near the only entrance and exit so it's constantly loud until checking in and dinner stops. Terrible. I asked to change rooms and was somehow given a worse one. This one, 132, is above the laundry room. That's fine, I thought, white noise to help me sleep. Turns out my water is connected to the laundry room. No water pressure, no hot water. On top of that, the shower curtain rod was about to fall off the wall, making the curtain unable to stay closed getting the floor wet. Next, I found out my TV remote only goes up. Channels only go up and the volume doesn't even work! In the morning, I found my coffee maker hadn't been cleaned in I don't know how long. It smelled just awful. Worst birthday ever. Just spend the money and go to Driftwood Shores, it will at least be consistent
The check in person was nice. Good for the first impressions which many places do not care about it. Room was clean with all we needed; Microwave, mini fridge, dryer, chairs and table, .... Although there was not A/C but a portable fan was enough with outside 13 degrees in Celsius in early August! I disappointed a bit when hot water turned cold when my son was taking shower. It became hot after half an hour though.
Great location for walking to restaurants and shops, was quiet for our night. Very clean and felt safe. Rooms were slightly dated, but nothing rundown - just wasn’t totally “modern”. Will return when in town.
We've stayed there several times and consistently have enjoyed our stay. The staff is delightful and the rooms are nice. Its location is very convenient to local sights and businesses. Kudos, and thank you. We'll be back.
