Short loop trail, less than a mile in a fairy forest. Lots of older trees and greenery with a creek. They also have a picnic table and it was nice to sit and listen to the water rush over the rocks. Great option to get away from the busy life and decompress in nature. I was the only one in the trail.

Limited parking, very limited in fact. Only about four spaces. But I've been several times and have never even seen another car there. Very remote, but no security issues, too far removed for break ins I imagine. A nice trail that was fairly well maintained and had within the loop several giant trees as compared with the norm. The trail is steep in a couple places and had a recent blow down from a storm, however it was cleaned up and fixed within a couple months of the event. Even utilized a fall tree as a bridge with a railing to bypass some of the flotsom produced by said storm. A small little known little visited jewel of the near central coast 9/10 I go again and again and again.

What a great easy scenic hike! Beautiful views, easy trails, highly recommended for all.

One of the most beautiful areas in Oregon. The hike is easy and refreshing. Easy to dip feet in the creek. You may see signs here that highly recommend you lock up your valuables. THEY'RE SERIOUS. Usually the day time is okay, then the NIGHT crew starts milling about. Junk 4x4s start to prowl the roads. Odd people start coming out of the forest from the North and the East. Ultimately to sleep in their cars overnight @ the parking lot. Or review the contents of your auto. Take a group, hike only in daylight.

We hike here frequently and for a short up and down loop it's absolutely perfect.
