My wife and I stayed at The Quality Inn, which used to be the Comfort Inn, a number of times. We stay there because it is inexpensive and gives breakfast, but I believe we will not return. The customer service is very poor. I phoned for a reservation and spoke to a new customer service rep at the front desk named Ella who said she had been working there for only 4 months. She did not know how to locate our names or phone number in the system and said she did not have record of us ever staying there before. I explained with was not possible and requested an upper level of support since she was fairly new. She actually hung up on me and refused to answer the phone lines any longer, picking up and hanging up on the Quality Inn phone. My wife and I are seniors and certainly have experience with hotels. This is very poor customer service. I know it is difficult to find employees, but I do not believe I would do well to hire this type of person whom is disrespectful to customers and loses business. I do want to make another note, the hotel is not downtown and distance from activities. It as has many Steps and No elevator. I can not recommend this hotel.
The staff were fantastic! We were in town for a nearby classic car show and the front desk clerk was very accommodating in giving us room to park out truck amd trailer with our classic car on it, plus she even gave us cones to set out as a precautionary measure! They were all very friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean. The woman that works the breakfast service, her name was Cat, is so sweet and helpful! Breakfast choices were great:waffles, eggs, bacon one day and sausage the next, pastries, bread for toast, cereal, oatmeal, fruit and yogurt. We had a great weekend and will stay again sometime!
Looked like our room had been updated. It was great! There was an odd smell coming from the hallways..? But didn’t bother us while in the room. Breakfast was wonderful. Friendly workers. The toilets could definitely use an update. Overall I would recommend for the price point. ONE NOTE: THE HOT TUB IS CLOSED UNTIL NOVEMBER. They don’t have that posted ANYWHERE until you check in & see the sign on the front desk. That was very unfortunate.
Rooms are great, quality of the premises/location justify the price. The lady who is a senior housekeeping staff is super helpful, courteous and hospitable; similarly morning staff that manages front desk area and breakfast are amazing!! Evening front desk staff are not welcoming, barely smile and display disinterest towards their job.
Two floors, no elevator. Poor maintenance, the microwave in the room didn’t work and they couldn’t fix or replace. Only other microwave was in the main building. Offered warm breakfast buffet with regular options. Small souvenir nook was nice. Ok for one night stay, the organic noodle place next door has good reviews.
