Amazing experience! I highly recommend going, however the site is not handicapped accessible and there is a short trail over sand dunes to the beach. Worth the trek though.

My family and I had a wonderful time.
Hiking in the Jetty, and had a great time at the beach... We had a lovely day.

A 5 minute easy walk through the dunes to a beautiful sandy beach.
No tide pools or cliffs and such, but soft sand as far as you can see.

We really like to come home through the dunes here. If you drive all the way to the very end, you can walk out along the jetty and watch seals playing in the water. It’s generally pretty quiet despite ample parked cars. There’s enough space for everyone to spread out and enjoy nature. The weather has been pretty foggy and cold when we’ve gone. The wide open beach is worth it though. It’s a great place to fly kites! There are bathrooms along the road at several of the parking areas. They are well maintained pit toilets and mostly accessible to all.
