This place is one of the best Thousand Trails we have been to. Absolutely love it here. The sewer sites are a little sparse, but they are upgrading the power everywhere. 50amp and 30 amp at almost every site. The pool is heated. 2 hot tubs. Our Verizon signal was pretty good. If you get too deep into the trees you might get spotty cell service. The beach is just 5 minutes down the road. The lodge is newly remodeled. The playground is brand new. So many great things to say about this place. It rains quite a bit, but once you get a break in the rain this place is heaven on earth.
Seriously the BEST campsite I've ever been to. The service is amazing! They let you text them questions and have self check in. The bathrooms are super clean. The pool is clean, TONS to do! The only few things I would suggest would be to convert the "baby pool" section to a hot tub. There are two TINY hot tubs that barely got my family of 4 and people were literally in line to be in the hot tub. We weren't able to enjoy it because we felt bad being in there. Also, the first come, first served option is kind-of a bummer. We were able to find a spot that would BARELY for our camper, they're all pretty small. Overall, I'm super happy with it here and will be back again and again!!
I love it! We stayed at a great site on lot E. Well wooded with a beautiful view. It feels like we are in a forest. Where we stayed was full hookup. The bathrooms have just been redone and look great. Well located to the beach and the dune is very close. Great space between the RVs. Excellent for maneuvering. The internet sometimes went down because of the trees, but most of the time I was connected with AT&T. I recommend!
The laundry room is one of the best of the many Thousands Trails we have stayed at. It is clean and the machines are well taken care of. The CSCPay Mobil app works good so you don't need quarters for laundry, but you can still use quarters if you need to. I really would like it if Thousand Trails standardized on this app for all of their campgrounds. The sites are nicely tucked into the forest, and it is very green. I wish it had more sewer sites to get 5 stars from me.
We are 1000 Trails members, when we signed up, we were assured we would always get a spot. That was a sales ploy. We couldn’t get a spot here Friday, we did get to stay at the Casino for free, so there is that. The pool is nice, they installed a new play structure. No beach access here, FYI. The clubhouse has recently been renovated. Nice campground. We have been here many times. Will return.
