I have been going to Driftwood Shores for about 10 years with family and it never disappoints. Beautiful views paired with good service and food. The fish tacos and fish with fries are always a hit. The fried calamari is fantastic.
We stayed at the hotel. My family liked theirs, my fish and chips was soggy. My drink had too much syrup. The staff was friendly.
Attention OWNER: I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT GOT FOOD POISONING .The food was good. I ordered fish tacos and clam chowder and my daughter ordered a pork platter. the waiter was a little mediocre but I definitely paid him the 20% tip because of his effort. About 30 to 40 minutes after me and my daughter left we felt queasy and felt like throwing up because we got food poisoned. About an hour later we have the runs!!!. I don't know but I suspect because the restaurant was super warm inside and they propped a door open to bring in a draft.. because the AC was not high enough was not working strong enough, that it's possible the seafood could have spoiled a little. I will just definitely recommend them to check it out because seafood spoils really fast.
What a gem! Can’t believe we’ve been coming to Florence and Driftwood shores my whole life and I’ve never been here. So yummy! And the view from the restaurant was amazzzzing.
The views are awesome. You can't get better views. The food is pretty good. I've never had a bad meal here, but I've never had an amazing meal either. They do have awesome breakfast with thick cut bacon. Staff is usually pretty friendly, but I've seen some very sketchy looking people come out of the kitchen.
