Great trails in the day use area. Very loud traffic noise from 101. Currently, there is no camp host. The camp spots are very small and close together. There are huge tree roots everywhere that cause safety issues as well as difficulty finding a good tent spot.

It's a beautiful campground. It's kid friendly Close to everything. The host was great. The trail head is amazing. It's an easy walk kid friendly and leads through to the dunes and the ocean.Or the lake.We had a wonderful time. The only down side is it's to close to the road and the trees at the campsite are thick leaving little sun. But everything else makes up for that.I now know why this part of oregon is one of the wonders of the world. Dunes, oceans, rivers, lakes. It's got EVERYTHING.. There's no running showers however there is a public shower/ laundry mat in florence that's pretty clean. If you plan on playing in the sand I recommend going there to wash up. I'll definitely go back

Very beautiful campsite, though the spots were very small and barely fit a single car, I don't know how 8 people and two cars could fit into one spot. It's pretty packed in, you are very close to your neighbors. On the website they listed running water and flush toilets but currently they are closed and have a portapotty. Lots to do around the area, great swimming spots

Nice place, our site was small, but had it's own charm (01). Definitely only room for one car. As others have noted, restrooms failed. There's a vault toilet as a back up, but that was out of toilet paper until the port a potty arrived. So come prepared. Sites vary widely in size and set up. Near Florence which is g
handy.

Picking the right site can be a little hit or miss. Sometimes you're literally connected to a group next to you. The trails are wonderful. Facilities are well kept. Picnic tables and fire pits are a little worn down but it appears they're in the process of updating them. There is road noise from Hwy 101. Beach access is nearby with several different activity options and the dunes are pretty incredible. I'd recommend to others but more so now that I have it scouted out.
