Great breakfast menu. Tried the corned beef hash, which was delicious along with a homemade biscuit. Also was lucky enough to get the best apple fritter I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend trying this place out.
The halibut and chips & marionberry cobbler were very good BUT I WON'T BE BACK! I despise that they add a 20% gratuity to the bill!!! In my opinion, a tip is provided by a willing customer for good service PERIOD! If you want to add 20% to the bill simply raise the prices for the food & drinks 20% ... and not blindside me with it after I've eaten!
Food was good enough, veggies were a bit under done for my liking. But still good. Scored by coming during the Celtic(?) festival where they had extended hours and live music! Paddle Out rooms were about 15$ higher than what you get vs a cheap hotel. Nice and clean though. Bed was too soft for my preference though. Would recommend both food and rooms if passing through.
We walked in with a warm welcome from our waiter Grey. He did such an amazing job keeping things lighthearted and informing us joyfully with what was offered on the menu. He carries great hospitality and service to enhance our honeymoon trip! He’s very personable and by the end of the meal he became a new friend! He set the tone of the restaurant atmosphere and me and my husband would love to come back again!!
Except the restaurant vibe, not much to like here Chicken wings was overcooked with the skin really HARD to chew! What's worse was even after letting the server know, they didn't offer to replace the dish Crab cakes were decent, though slightly over fried. Tortilla chips were decent thanks to the thousand island dressing which we separately requested The entrees were all bad and pretty tasteless. We tried 4 of them: thai noodles, pot pie, Perusian rice bowl and tree planter chicken. All of them were pretty ordinary and/or tasteless. Oh and don't forget, they had a 20% gratuity tax!! So in short, overpriced below par taste, NOT RECOMMENDED
