Fun campground! You do get the noise from hwy 101 but after a while you don't even notice it.
Many of the sites have river views or access to the river. Nice area to launch kayaks. You can put in and go to the ocean or to Siltcoos lake! Location is also good for kayaking many of the local lakes.
Glen, the camp host, is great!!

Nothing wrong with the campground itself, but the management needs improvement. There was no host on site and our site had a camper in it when we arrived. They said they booked through NPS website same as us. Luckily they were friendly and we all fit, but we heard that two other sites were also double booked. A camp host on site would have made sure things went smoothly. You do hear the traffic but it isn’t terrible. I liked hearing the frogs sing at night.

Spot was beautiful but our generator was stolen in daylight while we were a few yards away fishing.
Definitely keep an eye on your belongings since there is no camp host

It's a very modest campground with 2 pit toilets. Great access to the Siltcoos Kayak Trail that goes to the ocean. The camp isn't quite as it is right next to the 101 highway.
