Love this beautiful place. Love to camp there as it's our favorite place to camp. It's not a big camp geound, but close to the beach.
Probably the best campground I've ever stayed at. Warm, clean FREE showers. Felt very safe, the host was very kind and there was no mosquitos! Came back and stayed in a yurt. Very cute and have heaters!
Loved my time camping here. Quiet, beautiful lake with trail, clean bathrooms, and nice people. I also added some pics of the lighthouse. The tour was very interesting.
This park is located on a small lake not the ocean. It is right off Hwy 101 with two entrances from the hwy; the campground entrance is a little tricky to find in the park. The campground is on a steep hill with the showers/toilet house at the bottom of the hill. Showers are free. There is no playground or children's programs. There is a trail down a short, steep hill to a lake. The trail goes around the entire lake and is an easy hike. We enjoyed the hike and recommend it. There is no room to park a motorhome at the nearby beach and picnic area. The beach is small but sandy on a quiet lake. There is limited parking at the lighthouse which is a short drive from the campground. We did not see any boat ramp at the lake. Near our campsite there were two small buildings that looked like pit-toilets, but they were flush toilets with sinks. Most sites were level and easy to back into. The park was quiet with friendly park hosts keeping the place clean.
This is a very nice campground! It's well kept, quiet, and well organized. We stayed in a yurt, which was roomy, clean, and had a lot of great amenities. The only reason this is 4 instead of 5 stars is that the bed in the yurt was hard and it was hell on my body ha ha. Woke up sore and broken. However, the yurt itself was great, the lake loop was very nice, and the surroundings were all beautiful.
