The room was clean. Microwave and refrigerator clean. However, the microwave cord was too short to plug in. The very nice office staff brought us a cord that worked. The hotel is in a great location. 👍 downside: The bed was very firm, hard for me, not very home, no pictures on walls. Very outdated furniture.

Woman who took the reservation never wrote it down. Fortunately, the man who checked us in found us a room. After I showed on my cell that I had called. Bed was fine, futon instead of a sofa was miserable to sit on in front of TV. Clean room, kitchenette. No coffee for the coffee maker. Like a faded movie star out of date and dying a slow death.
The included breakfast was cereal, bread, bread with frosting or bagels. Orange colored water? to drink. Cute wallpaper. If it weren't for the gentleman who was so nice I would have gone elsewhere. For this we paid $185 for 2 people for 1 night.

The front host was nice and professional and location is convenient to the dunes but the room definitely needs improvements. The thermostat in the room was terrible, the worst part was that no matter what temperature you set it to, it'll keep running until you manually turn it off, so the night was a ruined because of that, waking up being way too hot.. Also, the ceiling in the shower was stained, and the shower drain was clogged. Overall, not worth paying $180 for a Friday night.

We had the 2 rooms-suite, typical motel setting, small kitchen, spacious walk-in bathroom, good water pressure, equipped with kitchen (only microwave and fridge, no stove). The service highlight was Lorie who waited for us although we were late for check in. Even though it was only 15 minutes late, if she had not waited we would be in for unnecessary hassle. Thank you Lorie, God bless.

This is a decent hotel with the location being the biggest draw. Price is the other draw of course! It is just a couple blocks from Salmon Harbor Marina with its shops and restaurants. It’s also within a mile of the lighthouse, the dunes and Umpqua Beach. It’s an older hotel but was clean, had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker along with free breakfast.
